Pacific Poker/PokerTips.org Tournament League Update
Promotions, 2008-01-03, by Ozone
In the Pacific Poker tournament league open exclusively to our readers, one player is dominating the competition. Through four tournaments, Austria's "13792468" has finished fourth, second, first, and first. After winning yesterday, he now has a commanding lead in the overall point standings.
German player "MarcHB75" finished second in yesterday's tournament. "CougarMD" moved into second in the overall standings by finishing third.
With two tournaments remaining, only 17 players have earned points towards the overall league standings. As we detailed at length in this news article, the top 20 point earners over the course of the six tournaments will be invited to a $1,500 freeroll at Pacific Poker.
To participate in the remaining two tournaments, simply submit your Pacific Poker screenname to a PokerTips site administrator. If you do not have an account at Pacific Poker, note that our readers receive a 60% first-time deposit bonus up to $100. To receive this bonus, you must use a link from PokerTips.org when signing up at Pacific Poker. Otherwise, your bonus will only be 25% up to $100.
